Personal development, health and physical education

Personal development, health and physical education (PDHPE) is mandatory from Kindergarten to Year 10.

PDHPE provides students with opportunities to explore issues that are likely to impact on the health, safety and wellbeing of themselves and others – now and in the future. Students also participate in challenging and enjoyable physical activity, improving their capacity to move with skill and confidence.

Students at Jannali east Public School are offered a range of co-curricular activities which enhance their school experiences. These include, but are not limited to:

choir, dance, band, public speaking, debating, leadership development, gifted and talented programs, resilience programs, STEM projects, coding, Japanese, transition support, a variety of incursions and excursions, environmental projects including gardening and caring for our rescue ducks and chickens, PSSA, sport gala days and knockout competitions, and academic support programs targeting literacy.
